How to reach us
Email hello@islamujeressnorkelingtours.com. We answer in English, usually within two working days.
We are a booking guide, not a tour operator, so we cannot change, cancel or refund a booking. That goes to the operator through the site you booked on, whose contact details are on your confirmation. If you cannot find them, write to us and we will point you to the right place.
If your trip was cancelled or you missed it
A refund or a new date is the operator's to give. Your confirmation email carries their contact and your booking reference, which is the fastest route. Every trip listed here refunds in full if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start.
Weather is the other common cause. The operator may swap a stop or cancel when the sea is rough, and the port for Isla Contoy often stays shut in the January north winds. If you missed a meeting point, give the time and the place you waited when you write to the operator.
Corrections
If a fact here is wrong or out of date, tell us what and where. Meeting points move, fares change and dock fees rise, and the fastest fix is usually a reader who has just been. Every page carries the date it was last checked.

Where the official information is
The national park office (CONANP)
Parque Nacional Costa Occidental de Isla Mujeres, Punta Cancún y Punta Nizuc, Boulevard Kukulcán km 4.8, Zona Hotelera, Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico; phone (998) 883 9515. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00; those are office hours, not trip times. CONANP sets the park fee and the rules in the water.
Isla Contoy National Park (CONANP)
The bird island about 25 km north is a separate national park with its own fee. CONANP publishes its opening hours, 9:00 to 18:00 every day, weather permitting.
SEMARNAT
Mexico's environment ministry publishes the whale shark management plan: the season, from 15 May to 17 September, and the rules for swimmers and boats.
